The COVID-19 Pandemic HAS CHANGED OUR LIVES

The Bel Air Hills Association Board sincerely hopes that all of you and all your loved ones are well, and that you are staying "Safer at Home" in our wonderful neighborhood and taking advice only from well recognized and respected sources such as the CDC at: www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html and the County of Los Angeles at: https://corona-virus.la/faq. The BAHA Annual Meeting and our Annual BAHA Members Party must be postponed until "Social Distancing" is relaxed to allow such events to take place.

BABCNC and UCLA will hold a BLOOD DRIVE ON MAY 15TH

The Bel Air Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council has partnered with UCLA to hold a Blood Drive at 100 Bel Air Road Friday, May 15 10:00-4:00, in the Bel Air Association parking lot. Please see www.babcnc.org/readpost.php?news_id=487 for further info.

THE 2020 CENSUS HAS BEGUN - PLEASE BE SURE TO SEND YOURS IN

It is easy to do online and is very important to the funding and representation for our area and all of California. Please make sure to fill out your information on the paperwork you should have received or online at https://2020census.gov/.

Your BAHA BOARD has been busy WORKING ON MANY THINGS

*We have improved the landscaped areas at the north entrance by adding walking paths on both corners on the south side of Mulholland at Roscomare Road and have trimmed the trees and planted some new flowers and added more star jasmine plants. The trees at the traffic circle at south end of Roscomare have all been trimmed and the flowering plants renewed.

*The Architectural Committee has approved a new project in the northern BAHA area and has fielded many inquiries on other potential construction projects. We assist when our residents have questions and concerns about projects near them. We invite you to email us at [email protected] if you have questions and/or see any new construction starting so we can make sure to connect with the builders to ensure the plans meet our CC&Rs.

*We are also working continuously to decrease the aircraft noise that has been plaguing our area for the last few years. The Final SF Valley Airport Noise Task Force Meeting will be held as a "virtual meeting" this Wednesday May 6th, from 6:00 - 9:30PM. If more time is needed, a second meeting will be held the next day, on Thursday May 7th. Please see here. And before 4pm on Wednesday, please consider emailing a letter of support for the “Statement of Unity” written by Studio City for Quiet Skies, and endorsed by many other groups and individuals. A prewritten letter of support along with easy to follow instructions on how and where to send it can be found at: Click here. Finally, to send a personal statement of 200 words of less, you can submit one here.

Please Support Our Work on behalf of YOUR neighborhood.
