Annual Members’ Meeting—Save the Date
BAHA’s annual meeting of members will be held on Wednesday evening, May 6, in the auditorium of Roscomare Road Elementary School. Formal notices will go out to all members well in advance of the meeting. The meeting will be open to all residents of Bel Air Hills. As is customary for our annual meetings, we are planning to have community and civic leaders to make presentations and take questions from attendees. The new Board of Directors will also be introduced.

BAHA has been informed of numerous complaints from drivers on Roscomare Road of loose nails causing flat tires. This condition is not limited to Roscomare Road since construction has been ongoing over our entire neighborhood. The easiest way to alleviate this problem is for our residents who are having construction work performed on their property, to request that construction crews please sweep the street area near their construction site and keep it clean and safe from all debris. Also, it’s been reported that construction crews park their cars on both sides of the street, creating traffic “bottle necks.” So, please request workers to find parking spaces on only one side of the street. While this is primarily a Roscomare Road problem, it affects us all. Also, cigarette smoking is prohibited in Bel Air Hills. Thank you for your cooperation in addressing these issues.

BAHA has received notice from the Los Angeles Police Department – West Los Angeles Division, of a recent increase in license plate thefts throughout the area. Stolen license plates are often used by suspects to conceal stolen vehicles, commit additional crimes, evade toll and parking enforcement systems, or avoid identification by Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) cameras. The police encourage residents and visitors to remain vigilant and take preventative measures to help protect their vehicles from this type of theft.

BAHA received a communication from Canyon Crest Preschool asking us to inform the community that the generator, which has been outside the school since its opening, has now been removed, This resolves an issue of concern for many in the community since the school opened.
