Save the Date: Fall Festival, October 18th

It’s that time again—time for BAHA’s Fall Festival! Please save the date: Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. As in the past, it will be held at Roscomare Circle Park (south end of Roscomare Road). It’s a neighborhood activity where all residents of Bel Air Hills are welcomed, regardless of BAHA membership. More information will be provided in the October edition of Newsbites.

Zone 0 Update

Final regulations have been adopted for Zone 0, the 5 foot zone from the outside of your home. As adopted, they can have a significant impact for our homeowners here in Bel Air Hills. However, there is nothing that needs to be done yet and the final regulations will be modified by the local authorities who will be responsible for implementation--primarily Los Angeles City Council and LAFD. BAHA will join other hillside neighborhood associations in working with the City Council and LAFD to make the final regulations more practical as they apply to our hillside communities. LAFD Foundation

The LAFD Foundation raises money to help fill the gap between funding all LAFD needs and what the City of Los Angeles provides. So the Foundation has developed a video entitled “A Stronger LAFD: Because of You,” to go behind the scenes to show how donated funds help provide LAFD firefighters with the tools, equipment, and resources needed to respond to nearly half a million calls for service each year.
